Bio

Matthew Reeves never had any inclinations or desires for being a novelist. As a young teenager, his ambitions were far from the bound pages of a book and much more in tune with the fast pace of a motion picture. However, nearly a month after turning fourteen, Reeves stumbled by chance onto the official website for NaNoWriMo and the rest, is as they say: history.

His numerous projects since those early days, including but not limited to: “That Which Divides Us All” and “Once Upon a Christmas Wish…” have not only helped further develop his craft, but managed, in the process, to become quite popular.

In the Summer of 2010, Reeves joined early on with the public beta for Figment.com after an invitation was extended, helping to suggest improvements and launching another new novel of his own dubbed “Mafioso”. A prequel to an unpublished work of his, it would soon go on to become a success, entering the top 12 stories of the site as voted for by readers.

Reeves work, though still early in his career, has been lauded by agents, appraised by the Huffington Post and even appeared on live television. Now, twenty one years old and determined to prove himself a contender in the public arena of publishing, he is soliciting a novel of his for representation.

His preferred market of writing is Young Adult (YA).

Aside from his ambitions for literary success, Reeves is pursuing professional degrees in Religious Studies and Archaeology. He is involved with a number of projects, including working as an active editor for the upcoming release of the Eastern Orthodox Bible (EOB).
